This unit was custom designed for a Texas Sheriff's Department to fit in the rear of 2000 to 2014 Cadillac Escalade, Chevrolet Suburban and Tahoe series, and the GMC Yukon and Yukon XL series SUV's. This safe is designed to fit in the rear of the above stated SUV models. The LD3002 fits in the Suburban and Yukon XL without removal of the 3rd row seats. The LD3002 fits in the Tahoe and Yukon WITH REMOVAL OF THE 3RD SEATS. The safe is 48" wide, by 36" deep, by 6" tall, and weights 125lbs. The safe attaches to the factory cargo anchors using 12MM bolts to secure straight into the frame of the vehicle, providing maximum security.
